Praying the Prayers of the Bible by James Banks is a collection of scripture verses written to pray through. James Banks organizes the verses into several sections such as “Prayers to Praise and Honor God”, Prayers to Say Thank You, Prayers to Strengthen Faith and Give Ourselves to God, Prayers about Everyday Needs, Prayers to Confess Our Sin and Humble Ourselves, Prayers for Guidance and Direction, Prayers for Help and Protection, Wrestling Prayers, Blessing Prayers. Each section is divided into verses that help reflect about the theme of the section and verses that start the reader in prayer in the subject of the section. I suggest this book for anyone wanting to grow in their prayer walk through God’s word.
